Join us for a week of Montessori music! This unique workshop will cover the entire Montessori music curriculum from Primary through Upper Elementary. Workshops will include lectures along with practical experience. The course is designed to help Montessori teachers, regardless of musical background, feel confident and secure in teaching all aspects of the music curriculum. Tuition for both workshops includes complete handouts and materials.
Workshop 1 covers the Bells, and the foundation of the Montessori Music Curriculum. It is recommended for teachers at the 3-6 and 6-12 levels.
Workshop 2 is a continuation of Workshop 1 for those who want to cover the Tone Bars. It is open to all, but tailored to the 6-12 teacher. (Participation in Workshop 1 is required for Workshop 2.)

Montessori Assistant Training ~ Nashville, TN ~ July 25-26, 2019
The Montessori Alliance of Tennessee has invited Montessori Teacher Educator and cofounder of ClassrooMechanics Tammy Oesting, to bring her live Montessori Assistant Training to the people that are often unseen yet are an essential part of a well-functioning school: your support staff. With this professional development opportunity, your support staff will learn how to guide children and maintain environments through observation, based on a foundational of philosophy, neuroscience, and best practices, resulting in more optimal classroom performance.
This two-day course is designed especially for uncredentialed staff members supporting Montessori environments and children 2-9 years old. This dynamic, fun, and affordable training does the heavy lifting of guiding your classroom assistants, substitutes, before- and after-school staff, administrators, and even parent volunteers to step into the Montessori environment with the tools to be effective immediately. Tammy will show your support staff how to observe each child, maintain the environment, and implement the skills to guide the child towards normalization. Staff acquire communication tools to build effective relationships with their colleagues, parents of students, and the children themselves. Additionally, this course embeds a section on professionalism in the workplace, insuring your staff members behave in alignment with your school’s mission. This course covers:
