2025 Conference: Our Roots of Neurodevelopment Call for Proposals
Montessori Alliance of Tennessee (MAT) is happy to share this call for proposals for break out sessions for the 2025 Conference: Our Roots of Neurodevelopment. The conference is on Saturday, September 13, 2025 and will be held at Montessori Academy, in Brentwood. Sessions are 90 minutes. Proposals are due by June 1, 2025.
Our theme this year is "Our Roots of Neurodevelopment". Proposal submissions should focus on this theme. Neurodevelopment refers to the way the brain builds and organizes itself, and how it works in everyday life. Our brains start to form just a few weeks after conception, and continue to develop all the way through childhood, through our adolescent years, and do not finish until we are into early adulthood. While we have a rough blueprint of how our brains develop, each person’s brain will develop slightly differently. Our brain is a big part of what makes us unique and gives each of us different strengths. Julie Volkman of Maitri Learning will be bringing the keynote address.
Suggestions for session proposals include topics such as:
Whether as a presenter or an attendee, we look forward to seeing you in September!
